at the risk of self-discovery

I hate small talk.  I hate huge crowds.  I hate cliques.  but...

I love hanging out with friends, making great memories.  I love playing board games.  I love singing and sharing around bonfires.  I love staying up late nights talking and laughing.  I love giggling about silly stuff and making inside jokes.  I love camps and retreats because you toss out your tv's and computers, and all outside life...and you end up fostering great relationships and spending quality time with one another.  I love the slow life, just sitting around getting to know people's stories...the real them.  I love that point in time when you cross over from the superficial into the genuine.  That point where you start sharing with others the things you don't tell just anyone.  I want to know the real you!  I want to know your problems, your desires, your fears, your favorite things, the things that make you smile, your most embarrassing moment, your biggest mistakes, the parts in your life that have changed you, and shaped the very essence of who you are.  I want to know what you love about God, how He has changed you and what is different in your life now...and I want you to know all these things about me too!
