New Games and a chance to practice forgiveness!

CeCe bought some new stuff for the kiddos to have at her house, and one of them is this new game:Hanging Monkies...yes I know that is not how you spell it, but that is what the box says!
Anyway, we had a lot of fun with this one. You roll the dice and put that number of monkeys on the tree without it toppling over! Some of the numbers on the dice are actually negative...so it is a great game to help with subtraction. "How many purple monkeys on the tree? How many left when you take 2 away?"

It is also a great game to help us focus on some character issues! Bella doesn't quite get the fact that the monkeys are to stay on the tree...she likes to pull the branch down, and then James says "BELLA!!!" You can see his expression below! So it's a great game for us to practice forgiveness, patience, and just having fun instead of focusing on winning. I love this photo...it's real life!!!
Thanks CeCe!!! We love you to the moon and back!
